Accepting the Cargo

"Kohila Vineer OÜ" has the right to not accept the supplied cargo and to return it to the seller if more than 10 % of the cargo does not meet the veneer log quality requirements and/or does not comply with the specifications. Before delivery, please read our roundwood supplier declaration.

Technical requirements for birch veneer logs

Lengths

Nominal length – 2.70 m (full log length 2.73 to 3.24 m).
Nominal length – 3.20 m (full log length 3.25 to 3.60 m).

Maximum veneer log Ø at the butt-end – 70 cm

Logs in a bundle

Veneer logs with nominal length 2.70 m and 3.20 m must be separated in a bundle.
Veneer logs separated in a bundle and with overlength more than 20 cm heart and drying cracks are allowed.

Quality requirements

The necessary documents

A person identity document. A copy of the authorisation, if actions are performed by an authorised person.
A copy of the felling certification or a copy of an equivalent document attesting the ownership and origin of the timber.

Copies of documents attesting the acquiring of ownership rights, if the timber is not obtained in one’s own property, and/or self-declaration of the timber seller.
A transport document / corroborative document for each cargo.
